With the Scarecrow Trail at the end of March we should now have lots of families hard at work creating their masterpieces. We are very pleased to have 40 entries to the trail this year, with a great range of characters for all different ages to guess. Our attention now turns to the weekend itself. We will have hot and cold refreshments on offer at the Pavilion, along with a bouncy castle, children’s games, face painting and a raffle. This year we have also added a half way refreshment stop at the school, where we will be offering cream teas. Friends of the Church have kindly offered to run this stop for us on both afternoons. We are still seeking volunteers to help out during the weekend to serve at the school in the mornings, or at the recreation ground throughout the day on the Saturday and Sunday. Even an hour of your time would be greatly appreciated. We will be needing lots of homemade cakes and scones, so if there are any keen bakers out there any donations would be gratefully received. Lastly, please come and support us during the Scarecrow trail weekend of the 29th and 30th March. It really is great fun and all profits are split between the school and Acorns Pre School so it is a worth while cause.
