On 15 June 2012 between 10am and 12noon Acorns Pre-school is holding a Play Morning to kick off the Pre-school Learning Alliance’s Playweek. It is a chance to celebrate play and have some fun! All Under Fives welcome with their teddy bears and their parents or carers.

Acorns Pre-school is a friendly pre-school with a family feel situated in Christian Malford, a village near Malmesbury and Chippenham. Acorns was rated Outstanding by OFSTED in February 2012.

Acorns Pre-School is situated in the grounds of Christian Malford Primary School. It benefits from an award winning outdoor area, highly qualified and experienced staff and close links to the school and local community.
Our aim is to offer children from aged 2 to 5 years the opportunity to learn through play in a fun and happy learning environment, enabling them to become confident, independent learners for life.
We achieve this by providing a safe stimulating environment where children are able to benefit from free flow play and a balance of child initiated activities and adult planned activities. We operate a key person system which allows us to plan for each child’s individual needs, ensuring that we are aware of each child’s stage of development and that they are progressing through the six areas of learning.
